Ecoman® Potato Late Blight Monitoring Station
Ecoman® Potato Late Blight Monitoring Station integrates wireless transmission, remote real-time monitoring, late blight analysis, early warning and forecasting, information management system, geographic information system (GIS) and early warning transmission system. The whole system can help monitor, early diagnosis and scientific control of the late blight disease in potato.
Late blight in Potato occurs only when the temperature remains at 7~25°C for more than 9 hours. If the temperature is lower than 0°C or higher than 33°C, the pathogen stops growing inside the host and resumes growth when the conditions are suitable.
This system integrates wireless transmission, remote real-time monitoring, late blight analysis, early warning and forecasting, information management system, geographic information system (GIS) and early warning transmission system. The whole system can help monitor, early diagnosis and scientific control of the late blight disease in potato.
Monitoring and early warning system predicts the best time to begin chemical application, avoiding delay in control measures and overusage of harmful chemicals. This saves the cost on chemicals and labor and also improves yield and quality of Potato production.

1. Automatic data collection:
● It can access the national and international information available on potato late blight early monitoring system.
● Automatic analysis of potato late blight data, which is readily available to be checked anytime, anywhere.
● It shows the late blight infection curve and the microclimate data curve.
● This data showing the late blight disease development, statistics and comparisons, can be shared with relevant departments/agencies by web notifications/APP/WeChat official account, etc.
2. Data Acquisition and Storage module:
- It can store data for atleast 3 hours, and supports data recording at fixed intervals if required.
3. Adopts low power full Netcom wireless communication module, which is compatible with 4G/3G/GPRS communication, and the data gets uploaded automatically to the server.
4. The machine is powered by solar energy. The field solar power supply system includes single crystal silicon solar panel, charge controller and 12V rechargeable battery.
5. The field protection case is acid and alkali resistant, corrosion resistant. The protection grade is IP67, and its impact resistance grade is IK08.
6. Installation Bracket: Professional Stainless-steel trianglular bracket.
7. Monitoring Sensor Parameters include Air temperature, Relative humidity, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction and air pressure.
