ECOMAN® Spodoptera frugiperda Pheromone Lure and Barrel Trap

The fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) is a species that belongs to the Lepidopteran order of insects and is the larval life stage of a fall armyworm moth. It is regarded as a serious pest which can damage a wide variety of crops causing huge economic losses. The major host plants are corn, rice, sorghum, sugar cane; as well as cotton, cruciferous, cucurbitaceae, peanuts, alfalfa, onions, Phaseolus, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and other nightshade plants.

Ecoman’s Fall Armyworm lure attracts male moths to the trap by releasing synthetic sex pheromones of Spodoptera frugiperda. The pheromone lure has strong specificity and high sensitivity to Spodoptera frugiperda. It can accurately reflect the field pest population dynamics, reduce the number of adult insects, lower the base count and reduce the damage level in the next generation. It is an effective monitoring and control product.
